I don't really remember not playing guitar. I grew up playing in bands and went to college to study music. I studied jazz and classical guitar at University of North Texas and Southwest Texas State while touring with bands all around the South.
My wife and I moved from Austin to San Diego in 2004 to be near the ocean and start a family. We have three incredible daughters, live in a beautiful town, and I get to play music for a living!
I became so enamored with the guitar that I wanted to study everything this versatile instrument can do - jazz, rock, samba, classical, tango, pop, country, funk...there is always something new to learn. I've played on the road, in the studio, on the stage, and in the background. To be able to play guitar and provide for the beautiful ladies in my life is the best career and life I could imagine.
